We had to say this is a Superman movie for the first time and you can't then go 'Oh, now let's steal a little music. So, yes it's awesome music but Hans Zimmer is going to do something awesome."

I think it's a good idea to just ignore the other movies and start over from scratch the way Batman Begins did. With Christopher Nolan and his writing team, combined with Zack Snyder's visual flare, I think this movie can be really good. I love the old Superman movies (well the first two anyway) but it's time for something new. I prefer a less campy version. Something that takes itself seriously like Nolan's Batman movies or The Amazing Spider-man. From the trailer, it looks like that is what we are going to get!
