This is an interesting choice considering that Marvel’s The Avengers 2 will be coming out that same summer. Unlike The Avengers, Justice League will spin individual movies off of it, rather than have individual character movies come first. I think DC would have been much better off to build up each of the characters through their own films first, then have a Justice League movie. Christopher Nolan was asked, but declined to produce the film. I suppose we shall see how it turns out.
